Dell is in Low-Cost industry
Even Commondity of PC industry, But Customer would like not Product , but more Services
Dell will changing to Provide "Service" Business
In Dell's Customer Service:First Call Revolution is that Customer can solve the problem when they call Dell first time
Dell sell directly to Customers and They don't have a lot of Warehouse,That's not their strategy.
Only one thing that I can advise you about Career is "You love doing"
Don't do something someone else told you to do it, find things you loving to do ,and enjoying it , that's important then anything else.
It's pretty simple formula is "Call buy now" for Dell
Too much R&D would hurt the company, Because Customers don't willing to pay for it , and Customers's not willing to lock into one thing.(also concerned in Customer needs)
"Nobody ever went broke having too much cash" , so do not invest industries that you don't understand why do so?.
Curiousity and maybe resourcefulness are two personal trait that's been instrumental to Michael Dell's Sccess.
